Leyda Luz is a Mexican documentary photographer based in New York City, specializing in concerts and live performance imagery. With 15 years of experience, she has collaborated with artists, venues, promoters, and producers to capture the energy, emotion, and narrative of live music and events.

​

Her work spans an impressive range of internationally recognized performers, including Dua Lipa, Tame Impala, Coldplay, KISS, Roger Waters, Shawn Mendes, St. Vincent, Muse, RuPaul, and Cardi B, among many others. Leyda’s photography has appeared in media outlets such as Rolling Stone, People, Elle Magazine, Vice, Red Bull and additional publications around the world.

Her live event experience includes photographing at some of the most important venues, including Madison Square Garden, Sony Hall, Bowery Ballroom, Prudential Center, Kings Theatre, and The Town Hall.

​

Beyond photography, Leyda blends her background in graphic design and illustration to create visual concepts for music industry projects. She developed the brand identity for Victoria Records, recognized as one of the top 12 recording studios in the world and the foremost in Latin America.

​

Leyda Luz is currently expanding her documentary work into New York City’s nightlife and drag scene capturing its artistry, community, and cultural impact.
